How our work is scoped and costed

We do not publish a price list, because the honest answer depends on your site and your market. We can be completely transparent about how pricing is built.
Most Scottish small and medium businesses spend between roughly £750 and £3,000 a month on ongoing SEO, or £1,500 to £6,000 on a one-off audit or website project.
Where you land depends on how competitive your market is, how much needs fixing, and how much content is produced each month. We give a fixed figure after looking at your site, not before.

Audit & strategy

A one-off, fixed-fee review of technical health, content, local signals and competitors, delivered as a prioritised plan you can act on with us or hand to another team.
Good if you want clarity before committing to ongoing spend.

Ongoing search & content

A monthly engagement covering implementation, content production, local signals, AI visibility and reporting. Scope agreed in writing, reviewed quarterly.
Good if you need sustained growth rather than a one-time fix.

Website projects

Fixed-scope WordPress or Shopify builds, redesigns, migrations and conversion work, quoted after a short discovery.
Good if the site itself is the bottleneck.

What a fair quote should include

Whoever you end up hiring, a quote should tell you what is being delivered each month, who does the work, what you are expected to provide, how success is measured, and what the notice period is. If a proposal cannot answer those five questions, it is not a proposal, it is a subscription.

Frequently asked questions

For most Scottish SMEs, ongoing SEO sits between roughly £750 and £3,000 a month, depending on competition, the state of the website and how much content is being produced. Local-only campaigns for a single-location business can work at the lower end. Competitive ecommerce or national campaigns sit higher. These are typical market ranges, not a fixed price list.
Because the same monthly fee buys wildly different value depending on the site. A fixed package forces us to do the same work for every client whether or not it is the work they need. We scope after we have looked.
Ongoing work is usually agreed in three-month blocks so there is enough time to see movement, then continues month to month. Projects such as audits, builds and migrations are fixed scope and fixed fee.
No. The first call is free and there is no obligation afterwards. If we are not the right fit we will say so.
It varies by plan, but typically: an agreed set of deliverables each month, implementation or developer-ready specifications, reporting, and a call to review progress. Everything is written down before work starts.
You do. Content, pages, accounts and data belong to your business, and you keep them if we stop working together.
